Dr. Kathleen Stickney is available to make classroom visits: both virtual and in person. Focusing on endangered species, such a visit generally involves a background of interesting facts and stories. This is followed up with a discussion of what young people (of all ages) might do to become involved as First Watchers, themselves. The adventures of Charlie, and his friends, serve as a metaphor for awareness of the natural world. Awareness is a first step in the process of change. Brainstorming sessions allow discovery of small, everyday observations and actions that will make a difference.
